Founded in April 1993, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. (BOE) is a leading IoT innovation company providing intelligent interface products and services for information interaction and human health. Our “1+4+N+eco-chain” business architecture is centered on Semiconductor Display and features the integrated development of four business groups, namely, IoT Innovation, Sensors and Solutions, MLED and Smart Engineering Medicine.
As of the end of 2024, BOE had independently filed more than 100,000 patent applications to patent offices around the world. Out of the new patent applications in the year, over 90% were patents for inventions and above 33% were filed overseas, covering the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, etc. According to the ranking of 2024 Top 50 US Patent Assignees released by IFI CLAIMS Patent Services, BOE came in 12th, making into the top 20 for seven consecutive years. On the 2024international patent application ranking published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), BOE ranked 6th in the world with 1959 PCT patent applications, making into the top 10 for nine consecutive years.
BOE owns a number of fabrication plants across China, including Beijing, Hefei, Chengdu, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Mianyang, Wuhan, Kunming, Suzhou and Ordos. Our subsidiaries span 20 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates, with a service network covering Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and other parts of the world.

Semiconductor Display Business
As a global leader in the semiconductor display industry, BOE has led China’s display industry to grow from the ground up. At present, one out of every four display products in the world come from BOE. Our UHD display, flexible display, micro display and other solutions have been extensively used by well-known brands at home and abroad. According to global market research agency Omdia, in 2024 , BOE remained No.1 in the world by shipments of LCD panels for smartphone, tablet, laptop, monitor and TV.

Sensor and Solution Business
The Sensors and Solutions business focuses on various fields such as biology, smart window, industrial sensors, and consumer electronics. It provides a full line of rear panel products for flat panel X-ray detectors, which have been widely used by high-end medical device companies in Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, etc. Through display and sensing technology innovation, the Smart Window business offers immensely competitive sensing devices and solutions designed for mobility, construction and other sectors. Industrial sensors are widely used across the spectrum of industries including consumer electronics, semiconductor, logistics, mobility, new energy, pharmaceutical, food, and automotive.

IoT Innovation Business
The IoT Innovation business includes two segments: Smart Devices and System Solutions. Based on its industry-leading smart manufacturing capacity and ever-evolving IoT technology, it is committed to developing integrated industrial platforms encompassing display devices, smart devices and system solutions. Through the new-type ODM model, it offers highly competitive products of smart devices in the fields of TV, monitor, laptop, tablet, power-efficient display, IoT, 3D display, etc. Leveraging AI and big data technologies, it provides a suite of total solutions for IoT segments such as smart park and smart finance, with a focus on products and services integrating software and hardware.

MLED Business
The MLED business furnishes new-type LED display systems and solutions for customers capitalizing on its high-precision chip-on-glass (COG) semiconductor process, unique active matrix (AM) mode and high-efficiency & high-precision transfer printing technology. Through industrial integration to expand the core technology represented by LED epitaxial wafer and chip technology, the MLED business achieves high-efficiency integration of ecosystem to consolidate its leadership in the Mini/Micro LED industry chain. It has rolled out a range of cutting-edge products such as COG LTPS P0.5 MLED Display, COG LTPS P0.9 MLED Display, COB P0.9-1.5 series, and SMD series. Additionally, its backlit displays have found application in such fields as TV, monitors, laptops, cars, creating a brand-new viewing experience for users.

Smart Engineering Medicine Business
Putting people front and center, the Smart Engineering Medicine business is committed to providing quality and convenient healthcare services through the IoT-based healthcare ecosystem centered on health management, driven by Engineering Medicine products and based on digital hospitals and health care communities. By boosting engineering-medical innovation and focusing on households, communities and hospitals, it connects the entire chain of “prevention - treatment – wellness” and links detection devices, medical professionals and customers to develop a smart health management ecosystem. BOE operates a number of digital hospitals in Beijing, Hefei, Chengdu and Suzhou, which provide people-centered, full-process and comprehensive health management services.
